General Information & Policies
Located in the inner south, the Canberra Deakin Football Club is the ideal venue to hold your next function.
The Policies below ensures the smooth running of your special occasion.

Room Hire

The Zagreb Room – $400.00 per day (Monday to Friday), $425 for Saturday and $500 for Sunday)
The Deakin Room – $100.00 per day (Monday to Friday), $125 for Saturday and $150 for Sunday
The Stadium room – $300.00 per day (Monday to Friday), $350.00 for Saturday and $400.00 for Sunday. (Not available on Weekends during Soccer Season)
Security Charge: In limited circumstances, the Club may require the presence of additional security personnel. Where this is deemed necessary, the cost will be passed on to the client. Confirmation of booking No function is confirmed until a deposit of $500.00 is received. If a deposit is not paid within 14 days of the original reservation, Management reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice and allocate the venue to another member or client.

Cancellation: In the event of a cancellation of a function we require written notice:
Three months or more for a full refund of the deposit paid
Two months for 50% refund of the deposit paid
Less than two months NO REFUND.

Food & Beverage

No food or liquor of any description will be permitted to be brought into the Club apart from celebration cakes.

Price Variation

Prices will remain fixed for Three months after the booking agreement has been made. Beyond that period of time the Club reserves the right to pass on cost increases from our suppliers will advise clients accordingly.

Loss or Damage

The function organisers are responsible for any damage, breakage or pilfering caused by guests. The cost of any damage etc will be charged on the function invoice. The Canberra Deakin Football Club bears no responsibility security of items brought into the Club by clients or other patrons.

Cleaning

General cleaning is included in the room hire charge. Use of confetti and or rice in the Function Rooms and surrounding club grounds is forbidden and will incur additional cleaning costs.
